Privacy policy
Effective and last reviewed September 5, 2026
This policy explains how Texas Construction Estimating LLC collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you use this website, request a proposal or engage us for estimating services. A project proposal, NDA or other written agreement may add project-specific requirements; where it provides stronger confidentiality or security terms, that agreement controls the engagement.
Information we collect and its sources
We collect information you provide directly by email, phone, the website request form or a document-sharing service. Depending on the request, this may include:
- your name, company, role, email address and phone number;
- project location, project type, requested scope, timing, scope notes and proposal history;
- plans, specifications, models, bid forms, addenda, estimates, rates, markups and other project files; and
- billing, transaction and business-record information for an accepted engagement.
We may also receive project information from another authorized member of your organization or from a consultant you direct to share it. Please do not provide personal information that is unrelated to the estimating request.
How we use information
We use information to review an inquiry, prepare and administer a proposal, perform approved estimating work, deliver and revise project files, answer questions, maintain business and accounting records, protect our systems, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations. We may use de-identified or aggregated operational information to improve internal estimating processes, but not to identify a client or publish a project as client work without authorization.
Website technology, logs and cookies
This website does not provide a file-upload field. When you submit a request form, the contact and project information you enter is transmitted to our website host and FormSubmit so it can be delivered to the estimating desk and the internal recipients assigned to review inquiries. A plan or document link is included only when you enter one. The current launch configuration does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies and does not include targeted-advertising trackers. The website host and network providers may still process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, date and time, and security events to deliver and protect the site. If the site later adds analytics, advertising or nonessential cookies, this policy and any legally required choice mechanism must be updated before those tools are enabled.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose only the information reasonably needed to service providers that support website hosting, email, file transfer or storage, accounting and project delivery; to professional advisers under appropriate duties; to a recipient you direct or authorize; or to authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security. Those providers operate under their own terms and may process information in locations outside Texas. We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising or profile consumers to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Project documents and confidentiality
Plans, specifications, models, bid forms and cost information are used for the requested engagement, related quality review and required business records. We do not represent a project as client work without authorization. Use controlled sharing permissions, limit a link to the intended recipients and identify any required NDA, storage location, access restriction or deletion schedule before sharing documents. If an access link should be disabled or information was sent to the wrong recipient, contact the estimating desk promptly with enough detail to identify the project.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry records, project files and business records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, the accepted engagement, dispute resolution and applicable legal or accounting obligations. The exact period depends on the record and any project-specific agreement. FormSubmit states in its service documentation that form submissions are retained for 30 days. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no email, transmission or storage method can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
Your privacy choices and Texas rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask whether we process personal data about you and request access, a portable copy, correction or deletion. You may also opt out of a sale, targeted advertising or qualifying profiling; we do not currently conduct those activities. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
Submit a request by emailing ask@constructionestimatingtx.com or calling +1 817 750 0051. Describe the request and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to the decision with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any further complaint option, including the Texas Attorney General's privacy-rights process, when it applies.
Children's privacy
This business-to-business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed and appropriate deletion steps can be taken.
External services and links
Email providers, cloud-storage platforms, maps, professional references and other linked services have their own privacy practices. Review a platform's terms and permissions before using it to share project information. This policy does not control an independent service.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when information practices, website tools or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published. A project-specific confidentiality agreement already in effect is not changed merely by updating this website policy.
